so we played an unexpeted show last night in sykesville, pa.  it went really well considering we were an acoustic band at a hardcore concert...the crowd was actually pretty accepting of us.  or at least they clapped...maybe they were just humoring us, i don't know.  anyway, there was supposed to be like 200 people there, but with the snowstorm and all it was ore like 30 (although people did keep trickling in as time went on).  so i will write it off as a success...a good experience.  i think the march show will be pretty sweet, hopefully add in some female vocals and second guitar, it hsould be nice.

anyway, it was a great little road trip out to sykesville, and at least we got to eat some candy and ride in a pt cruiser (awesome eprops and such to bonne for putting up with us).

new songs coming soon!

well, we played a show tonight. "we" you may be asking, "i thought burning for the beauty of the fire wasjust the sole awesomeness of that mark kid."  well no more...my roomate mike has officially been added to our lineup as djimbeyer (or however you spell that word)...basically he beats animal skin.  anyway, the show went really well, and i actually talked to the crowd a little bit (as opposed to my normal habit of staring silently at the floor between songs).  and, despite the fact that we only added the drum this afternoon, it all sounded pretty good (except for the few parts where my voice went out, because it is still not back to its full vim, vigor, and vitality).

also, there is a new song up on purevolume...it's a little birthday ditty i threw together when i was home last fall, so i hope you don't hate it too much...anyway, we also are adding a second guitarist and debuting some new material for the st. patties day show on teh 17th, so make sure you come out and see us in (hopefully) all our mild luster.  gorman out.

there is  a show tonight (tuesday for those of you who are lost in the ether) in the sac at 7.  everyone who's anyone will have their bizounzin' booties there (that was so gay i can't even look at myslef right now)....the point is that you should come because my voice is motsly back so i can sing stuff above a gravelly whisper.  not that a gravelly whisper is bad (it's very sexy), but it's good to scream too.  anyway...get there, be there, and spontaneous dance...it no doubt be interesting...

i got on purevolume yesterday, and was surprised to see so many plays and downloads.  that is awesome...i have no idea who's listening, but total eprops or whatever to you.  new stuff coming soon hopefully.

also, i just got the new william shatner album (i realize that statement would get me stoned by most of you, but it's actually pretty funny..even good at times).  he's got this weird way of half singin/half talking.  don't buy it, but if you can get a hold if it for free somehow, definitely rip yourself a copy (common people is especially...interesting, i guess).  that's all i got...peace out homedoggies.
